At EQUA, we provide charts that are ideally suited to evaluation of optical devices. We can provide designs that fit the customer application, including those involving pattern designs, optical characteristics, outline shapes, and the like.
The special features of EQUA’s charts are the ability to select either transmissive type or reflective type, and the variety of glasses, films, and other materials available.
In addition, by leveraging the sophisticated data processing technologies that we have honed over our many years of experience, we can meet a wide breadth of customer requirements, including for example complex pattern layouts, random pattern arrays, and gradation pattern formation.
Using high-precision imaging equipment, steppers, and photo-etching technology, we offer and provide glass masks for calibration, resolution charts, and the like.

Main Products and Applications
Resolving Power Charts
These are charts on which lines have been designed with various widths and spacings.
They are used to evaluate the resolution of, for example, photographic lenses and optical systems.
Calibration Charts
Dot patterns, cross marks, lines and spaces, and the like are arrayed in a lattice shape on charts. They are used to calibrate the positional accuracy of devices.
Step Tablets (Step Charts)
Solid patterns with different transmittance rates are arrayed sequentially. We accept custom orders with specific transmittance rates, step counts, and arrangements. These are necessary in adjusting exposure devices and evaluating the characteristics of photosensitive materials. We also offer products in which these are provided in combination with resolving power charts. Gradation products are also included in the line-up.
Color Charts
These are charts in which color patches are arrayed. They are utilized in evaluating the color reproduction characteristics of scanners, CCDs, and the like. At EQUA, we also offer products in which these are provided in combination with transmission type glass charts.
